Stauning El Clsico is a matured rye whiskey that is subsequently aged in vermouth casks. Rye whiskey and sweet vermouth have always played perfectly together in the iconic cocktail Manhattan. We wanted to frame this interaction in our rye whiskey. So we gave the mature whiskey a finish in vermouth casks, and the experiment was more than successful: a warm blooded whiskey
