It is strict but detailed even if not the most complex bouquet you will encounter in this vintage. The palate is medium bodied with a pleasant and supple opening. A mixture of red and black fruit here laced with tobacco, graphite and sous bois, the 1999 has a linearity that appeals at 19 years of age. It finishes in convincing style
