There is enough reduction to push the underlying fruit to the background though it clearly seems ripe

This is a bigger cuvée of 332 cases

This is oaky stuff today but it’s impressively stylish all the same and the underlying material is so good that this should harmonize with time

Once again the highly expressive nose can be aptly described as ultra-floral with a huge range of spice elements on the airy and cool aromas of red and dark berry liqueur scents

Akarua, Rua Pinot Noir Vintage:2010 the 2010 Amon-Ra is veryDeep ruby purple colored, the 2010 Rua Pinot Noir gives aromas of ripe black cherries and mulberries with nuances of powdered cinnamon, mace and chocolate. Medium bodied and with a good amount of ripe berry flavors, it has crisp acidity and a medium level of velvety tannins, finishing long. Drink it now through 2014. Akarua does not currently have a USA importer.
