Liten vas, Hakeme Swirl Muggar 5 cm i diameter ochSmall vase in hakeme technique. Unglazed outside, glazed inside. Hakeme is a Japanese technique where you paint with a contrasting engobe (liquid clay) and let the brushstrokes show through. Here I have worked with darker engobes on light clay. The dark one is a brownish black stoneware clay, and the lighter one is an earthenware clay that has melted out and is partially shiny. I can never have too many bud vases. They are perfect for that one flower
